G'day,
I ordered the DVD's from Microsoft. I went to install it, and everything was great, until the final reboot.
It would hang during the bootup process, and it would reboot itself (this happened a number of times until I realized what was happening).
I managed to get it to boot in Safe Mode, it would stop while loading "crcdisk.sys", and I got the blue screen of death with these Error Codes:
0x0000007f (0x00000008 0x80145000 0x00000000)
Does anyone have the slightest idea what it's telling me and what I ought to do?
I've an Acer TravelMate 4050 Laptop. It has a 60gb HDD, 1024GB Ram and a DVD-RAM. I've seen on the list that others with different brand laptops are getting this error, but I don't understand what exactly it's telling me.
Cheers
Matt
